Catalogue Note

Catalogo ragionato. Tomo primo. Il percorso artistico”, p. 46)

Let’s come to the conclusion right away: Enrico Castellani is a pure extremist through and through, perhaps only on a par with Giorgio Morandi during the twentieth century. He has granted nothing to others nor has he granted anything to himself. He only aimed –from the very outset- at the target. And the fact that he hit it, together with and thanks to his extremism, is the main reason for his international success.”
