Condition

The colours are fairly accurate in the catalogue illustration although the overall tonality is slightly deeper in the original work. The work is executed on its original canvas and is not relined. The stretcher is uneven, especially visible on the lower edge. There are drying cracks scattered throughout the surface, and one scratch mark located along the upper edge, on the right quadrant. Under Ultra Violet light inspection there is no evidence of restoration.
