Condition

The colours are fairly accurate in the catalogue illustration although the overall tonality is lighter and brighter in the original work. The work is executed on its original canvas and is not relined. The surface is slightly dirty and there is a very faint stretcher mark along the upper edge. There is a tiny hole to the canvas at the outer extremity of the lower right corner. The surface presents some classic cracks, stains and fold marks, inherent to the artist's folding technique. Under Ultra Violet light inspection there is no evidence of restoration. This work is in good original condition.
