Condition

Very good condition overall. Nicks, chips, scratches, and abrasions scattered throughout, consistent with age and use. Age cracks to the wood throughout. An open age crack to the back of the head. As visible in the catalogue illustration, hairline crack to the proper left left side of the face. An old loss to the chin but not affecting the sculpture, also visible in the catalogue illustration. Fine original red and black pigments retained in places throughout. Has stand.
