Condition

Overall the condition of the marble is very good, with some dirt and wear to the surface consistent with age. There is light surface dirt throughout, with particular dirt in some of the crevices. There are a few chips and minor losses to the lace border of the veil. There are a few small naturally occurring inclusions, including to the chest; most of these have been filled and are well-concealed. There are several chips and losses to the edges and high points of the ornate green marble column. The column is composed in sections.
