Condition

Overall very good condition. The interior of the bowl with a few small darker colored drip marks in a small concentrated area and a few on the exterior, neither of which is visually distracting. The edge of the bowl with a very minute dent which is not visible, but only noticeable when one's finger is run over the edge. A few faint scuffs to exterior, but generally in excellent condition. The underside with light wear and scratches as is consistent with age. The smaller bowls in generally good condition with a few scattered nicks and scuffs as is consistent with gentle use. One small bowl with scattered visible nicks/dents on interior, exposing the base wood. Another with several nicks and two small losses to exterior. The two accompanying salad tongs are made of teak and not illustrated. All pieces are creatively sculptural in form. The largest bowl is often illustrated either on its own as a centerpiece or paired with smaller salad bowls and wonderfully sculptural in form. The subtle undulating curve of each salad bowl is characteristic of Juhl designs.
