Condition

Please note that the movement has not been checked for timekeeping accuracy and Sotheby's will not be held responsible for any repairs should they be require. Movement is in working order while cataloguing and the chronograph function appears operational, the movement is in good condition except for some scratches on the chronograph bridge with no sign of corrosion. The Dial is in very good condition, the luminous hands and dots are slightly glowing, still in good shape, probably from an old restoration. Case and plexiglass has been polished as expected for a vintage piece and wear the usual scuffs due to use and age. Some unusual friction scuffs under the lugs indicate that the watch has been worn with a metal bracelet. A rare yellow gold example with a very attractive and strong presence and a very nice dial. Recommended.
