Condition

This picture is in very good original condition with strong colours throughout. The picture does not appear to be lined and paint surface is stable - there is only a small area of localised fine craquelure to the girl's skirt - only visible upon close inspection. The painting is clean and ready to hang. UNDER ULTRAVIOLET LIGHT Under UV light there appear to be a few minor flecks of retouching along the left edge and a couple near the upper right edge. Also a few minor flecks around the background figure group. FRAME This picture is contained in a moulded gilt frame.
