Condition
To the naked eye:
The painting appears in very satisfactory condition.
It has been correctly relined in the middle of the 20th century.
It is under an old varnish that needs to be lightened. The material and the glaces are well preserved.
Under U.V. light:
The painting is under a green thick uniform varnish.
We notice a 2 cm. long linear and oblique restoration on the hat of the figure on the right.
We also notice some little dots of restoration on the neck of the figure on the left.
