Late 19th century.  Together with Central Anatolian prayer rug, last quarter 19th century.  2 pieces.

Condition

(Yuruk Yastik) Pile ranges from good dense near original 1/6th of an in. to low to knot heads in areas of foldwear and oxidization. Some minor repiled foldwear. Scattered spot stains and surface dirt. Sides with some later overcasting and freying. Upper end with some losses to outer guard stripe, secured with a cross stitch. Lower end with some remnants of flat woven hand finish. Lusterous wool, supple handle, good overall condition. (Prayer rug) Pile ranges from approximately 1/ 6th of an in. to low to knot heads in areas of scattered foldwear. Some very minor visible foundation areas in field probably owing to moth activity or foldwear. Partially oxidized dark browns. Lower end with an approx. 12 in. by 1 in. loss to outer guard borders. Sides original with some minor overcasting. Ends secured with a binding stitch. Lustrous wool, supple handle, sound fabric and condition. approximately 5ft. by 3ft. 4in. (1.52 by 1.02m.)
