Condition

Pile ranges from approximately 1/6 th of an in. to low to knot heads in oxidized browns and scattered foldwear, some foldwear areas with exposed minor spot foundation. An orangey red chemical dye. Side with original polychrome selvages now with extensive losses and fraying recommend securing. Upper end with original flat woven finish, lower ends with remnants of flat woven finish, losses to end guard stripe, both ends now with cloth tape sewn to reverse. Flexible handle, sound fabric and condition, will enhance with cleaning.
