Description

  • height without bases 69.5cm, 27 3/8 in.
each cast as a harvesting putto riding a chain-led plough through wheat and holding aloft nine candle branches emerging from stems and leaves, the nozzles formed as flowerheads, 84 standard, the bobeches associated and struck 800, on yellow marble socles with grey marble plinths

Condition

Excellent condition and impressive. With minor surface nicks. The bases with wax residue.
