Lithograph, 1895, a richly inked impression of Woll's second state (of four), with the border and the background covered with tusche, signed and dated in pencil, printed by Lassally, on sturdy grayish wove paper, framed 

Provenance

Acquired from the artist by Olaf Schou circa 1900, to his brother Christian Schou, thence by descent to the present owners.  

Condition

With wide margins (trimmed irregularly), in good condition apart from some slight scuffs in the black areas, a small pale inconspicuous disruption to the paper in the forehead, an inconsistency in the paper in the margin at right, pale light- and mount-staining, associated pale fox marks, traces of pale surface soiling in the margins, framed.
