Condition

The ceramic is sound. There are a few minor chips to the rim of the base and some minor surface scuffing to the body of the jug, notably to the figure's proper left shoulder and to the rim of the opening. The pale slip of the face and chest was thinly applied but not discoloured in any way. A light build-up of studio dirt in the interior and some handling marks around the neck of the jug. This work is in good overall condition.
