signed and with edition '36/50' in ink in the margin, the photographer's credit/copyright/reproduction rights and Time Inc., stamps, with title and date in pencil, on the reverse, framed, 1933, printed later (Eisenstaedt on Eisenstaedt, p. 39)
Condition
This print, on double-weight, semi-glossy paper, is in generally very good condition. There is rubbing and discoloration in the margin at the perimeter of the image, possibly transference of silver foil from a mat and wood spacer. The edition number has been reinforced with ink over the original numbering, which is faded. A small area in the margin under the edition number has a slightly greenish cast.
The reverse is very faintly soiled.
