Condition
This photograph is in generally excellent condition. Visible in the margins are the following: very faint, uneven pale yellow discoloration, some scattered deposits of indeterminate nature, and a 5-and-1/2 inch faint stray graphite mark. The 'BFK Rives' watermark is visible in the upper right corner of the margin.
On the reverse, 3 edges are darkened, and there is some faint, scattered soiling overall. The copyright stamp is dated '1974' in pencil. Other stamps on the reverse read 'Hand-coated by the photographer' and 'Deacidified.' The annotations in pencil are as follows: 'Rives Paper on Aluminum, Multiple Coating and Printing, 1. Platinum, 2. Platinum-palladium, Print made Fall 1975'; 'No more than 42 original prints of this picture will ever be made'; 'C 547'; 'NEG. NO 85'; 'LD'; and 'D.'
