Condition

Both arms of Christ are lost, and there are losses to the perizonium on his proper left side, as well as to the crown of thorns at the front. Otherwise the condition is good, with some wear and dirt to the surface consistent with age. There is wear, including flaking and some losses, to the gilding and polychromy. The surface has darkened in areas, notably to sections of the perizonium and the feet. There are two small holes to the top of the head. There are some very minor traces of past worming, notably to the chest and thigh on the proper left side. The velvet covered mount is in good condition with minor wear and dirt. There is a hook at the back for hanging.
