Condition

The panel is uncradled, flat and stable. The paint surface is clean and the varnish is relatively clear and even. Inspection under ultraviolet light reveals very sensitively-executed spot retouching scattered throughout the sky, mostly along the horizontal grains of the wood. There are also minor spot retouchings in the foreground, but the details of the figures and horses are almost entirely untouched. In overall good condition.
