Condition

This charming piece is in overall good condition and would benefit from a polish. The presence of a small screw thread indicate that one small piece might be missing.

This inkwell was a gift of the Vereins der Deutschen Machinen-Ingeneure (company of German machine engineers) to Bismarck on occasion of his 80th birthday in 1895.
