Condition
The colours are fairly accurate in the catalogue illustration although the overall tonality is deeper in the original work.
The canvas is slightly wrinkled throughout and there are some discoloration stains, probably contemporary to the work and visible in the catalogue illustration. The left side of the work presents a deeper fold mark, due to incorrect hanging. Very small brownish stains scattered mainly on the left side are only visible under very close inspection.
