Raymond Visscher, a corporate attorney from the small town of Holland, Michigan, traveled to New York on business on January 17, 1928. After a particularly successful meeting, he walked across the street to Tiffany & Co. where he admired this jadeite necklace and decided to buy it on the spot for his wife. Sadly, Raymond passed away the following year and the exquisite necklace remained in a safety deposit box for nearly a century. The Visscher family now wishes it to serve out Raymond’s original intent: to be worn and enjoyed.
