Ruby and diamond necklace, Harry Winston

Set with brilliant-cut, marquise- and pear-shaped diamonds, the front decorated with floral motifs set with oval rubies within a frame of pear-shaped diamonds, length approximately 400mm, signed Harry Winston, numbered, case stamped Harry Winston.

Accompanied by Gübelin report 16081006, stating that the nine rubies stated to weigh a total of approximately 15.00 carats and measuring from approximately 7.45 x 5.60 x 3.40mm to approximately 10.35 x 8.10 x 4.50mm, are of Burmese origin, with indications of heating. Stamped Pt 950 for platinum and 750 and OR for 18 carat gold. Rubies well matched in colour, red of strong saturation, with good transparency and typical inclusions visible under close inspection, a few minor abrasions. Diamonds estimated to weigh a total of approximately 37.00 - 39.00 carats, on average G-H colour, VS clarity, as gauged and graded in the mount. In very good condition. Total gross weight approximately 75 grams. Case stamped Harry Winston and HW, box stamped HW.
