Description

  • Emeralds, diamonds, platinum, gold
Of open work design, set with a carved emerald cabochon surrounded with circular-, single-cut and baguette diamonds, within a frame of garland design set with carved emeralds, circular-, single-, square-cut and baguette diamonds, signed Cartier, numbered.

Condition

Brooch fitting signed CARTIER, numbered 8911. Also signed CARTIER, numbered 2915184 on the brooch. Emeralds well matched in colour, green of medium strong saturation, with typical inclusions, some surface reaching, nicks, cavities and scratches. Central emerald weighing approximately 12.50 - 13.00 carats. Diamonds estimated to weigh a total of approximately 5.00 - 7.00 carats, on average G-H colour and VS-SI clarity, as gauged and graded in the mount. Signs of normal wear to the metal consistent with light use. In very good condition. Gross weight approximately 25 grams.
