Description

Comprising: a collar pavé-set with brilliant-cut diamonds and fancy-cut cabochon sapphires, the front designed as a panther with a polished onyx nose and pear-shaped emerald eyes, inner circumference approximately 345mm, central motif detachable and can be worn as a brooch, additional brooch fitting, a bracelet, inner circumference approximately 150mm, a pair of ear clips of creole design similarly set, and a ring set with an oval sapphire, the mount pavé-set with brilliant-cut, baguette diamonds and fancy-cut cabochon sapphires, size 511/2; each piece signed Cartier, numbered, French assay and maker's marks, cases signed Cartier. 

Condition

Each piece signed Cartier. Necklace and detachable panther motif both numbered 230455, screw driver and brooch fitting. Bracelet numbered 601934, each ear clip numbered 605414, ring numbered 602015. Each piece with French maker's mark and French assay marks for platinum and 18 carat gold. Sapphires well matched in colour. Sapphire on the ring measuring approximately 14.46 x 10.39 x 8.62mm, calculated to weigh approximately 10.00 carats, blue of medium strong saturation, with good transparency, some typical inclusions, a few surface reaching. Diamonds bright and lively, estimated to weigh a total of approximately 130.00 - 160.00 carats, as gauged and graded in the mount. Little signs of wear to the metal. In very good condition. Total gross weight approximately 338 grams.
