Condition

Rubies of Burmese origin cannot be imported into the US; this piece may contain a ruby of Burmese origin and therefore may not be able to be imported into the US. Accompanied by a certificate from Olivier Baroin. French maker's mark for Darde et Cie. French assay marks for 18 carat gold. Rubies measuring from approximately 5.33 x 4.72 x 3.26 to 12.91 x 10.10 x 4.91mm, well matched in colour, translucent, purplish red of medium strong saturation, with typical inclusions, some surface reaching, few scratches and cavities. Emeralds measuring from approximately 4.06 x 3.66 x 2.41 to 10.84 x 10.74 x 5.95mm, translucent, well matched in colour, green of medium strong saturation, with typical inclusions, some surface reaching, with some nicks, scratches and cavities. Signs of normal wear to the metal consistent with use. In good condition. Gross weight approximately 59 grams.
