Condition

Structurally sound. There are a few manufacturing imperfections visible to the body of the vessel, in line with the artist's techniques and materials. These include the visible coil join around the foot of the vase, common in early coil-built vessels by the artist, and one or two tiny isolated instances of sharp jagged glaze sharding close to or on the incised slip lines. These do not detract from the overall appearance of the work, which otherwise excepting appears in very good overall condition. Inspected under ultraviolet light.
