Tirage argentique d’époque. Format carte de visite (91 x 54 mm), contrecollée sur carton fort à l’adresse du photographe.
Traces d’encadrement, bords du carton émoussé, petit manque au coin et au bord supérieur du carton sans atteinte à la photographie.
Les deux frères sont vêtus de la même manière, avec un grand nœud papillon. Les deux frères sont debout à côté d’un muret (variante de la photographie suivante).
Proust a environ onze ans.
