This work is in good condition, taking its age into account. The canvas is unlined and well-stretched, and the media layer is stable. Minor wear and scattered paint losses are present along all four edges of the canvas. A scuff approximately one inch in length is present along the bottom edge of the work, approximately six inches inward from the right edge. A vertical scratch is present, located in the lower left quadrant approximately four inches to the left of the central white bar. A faint scuff is also present in the lower right quadrant, approximately three inches from the bottom edge. Under ultraviolet examination, a thin layer of varnish becomes apparent. In the upper left quadrant, a vertical accretion approximately ½ inch in diameter becomes apparent. The work is ready to hang.
