Purchased directly from the artist by the present owner in 1974

Condition

Leaving the Bar: The sheet appears sound. Two reworked patches in the pavement which have been done by the artist. Overall the work appears in good overall condition. Woodblock prints (8) There is some cockling and discolouration of the sheet to 'Dublin Tram' and 'Room Companions', and a minor tear in upper edge of 'Room Companions'. Otherwise the works appear in generally good overall condition. 6 held in similar simple wood frames with beige mounts under glass; unexamined out of frames. Three (James Connolly; James Mangan; Farm, Askeaton) unframed.
