Condition
Oil on panel. The panel is sound, and slightly undulating to the left. Examination under UV light reveals some minor scattered flecks of retouching, primarily to the head and an additional fleck within the brown pigment to the left of the head. There are some minor flecks of pigment loss towards the lower edge of the composition. There is some frame rubbing to the extreme edges, and a further spot of rubbing to the black pigment of the head. This work is in overall good condition.
