Condition

Oil on paper laid down on board; the board is stable with a few scratches to the reverse and an in-filled hole due to a nail from previous framing. Examination under UV light reveals no signs of retouching. There is some pigment loss associated with frame abrasion to the edges of the panel, in particular to the left edge. There are further flecks of pigment loss towards the lower right corner, within the dark blue pigment. There is some shrinkage to the green pigments at the centre of the composition and some faint craquelure along the centre of the upper edge. This work is in overall good condition.
