Catalogue Note

The present example was designed initially for the Bahrain Exposition in 2001, the 'Labyrinthe' dial was created in the following configurations; pink gold case with a white gold dial, and platinum with either a pink or yellow gold dial.  These were produced in very limited numbers.

Launched in 1999, the Tourbillon Souverain d'Egalité marked the first use of a constant force remontoire in a wristwatch. The combination of both remontoire and tourbillon is a testimony to F. P. Journe's technical genius in the creation of complicated modern wristwatches firmly rooted in horological tradition.
