  • Mahogany and brass
  • dimensions 225 x 210 mm
• the movement main frame carrying the spring barrel, wheel train and pivoted detent escapement, half-plate sub frame carrying a 52mm balance with four adjustable weights, the long staff supported by three large anti-friction wheels, the regulator with engraved silvered scale • enamel dial with outer minute ring enclosing subsidiary minutes and hours dials, the centre with a small polychrome world map • the brass bowl with later gimbal  and later mahogany case • dial signed Louis Barbette à Venise

Condition

Movement is in working condition while cataloguing, but it has not been tested for the accuracy of time keeping and a service might be required at the buyer's expense. Case with normal scuffs due to useand age. Enamel dial in good condition. Overall in good condition.
