• cal. 1030 automatic lever movement, 25 jewels, adjusted to 5 positions and temperature, mono-metallic balance • black dial, faded 100m=330ft above Submariner, luminous triangular, baton and dot indexes, black bezel calibrated for 60 units, outer minute track • stainless steel brushed and polished Oyster case, black rotating bezel calibrated for 60 units, screw-down crown and back • case, dial and movement signed • with a stainless steel Rolex Oyster bracelet and folding clasp

The movement is running at the time of cataloguing, please note that Sotheby's does not guarantee the future working of the movement. Dial with strong signs of ageing, 100M=330FT faded, visible under close inspection, luminous indexes no longer glowing, baton at 6 glowing under UV light, same as hands but all fading fast, luminous substance in Mercedes hour hand mainly deficient. Rubbed bezel, does not move. Case and bracelet with normal signs of age, scuffing consistent with age and use. Back stamped III.57 on inside.
