  • Natural Pearl, Sapphire, Diamond, Silver-Topped Gold, Platinum-Topped Gold
One brooch designed as a ribbon bow, set with old-mine-cut diamonds weighing approximately 8.00 carats in total, mounted in silver-topped gold; and the other brooch, set with old European- and rose-cut diamonds weighing approximately 2.50 carats in total, decorated with calibré-cut sapphires and pearls, mounted in platinum.  (2)

Condition

Comprise: two brooches. Antique brooch mounted in silver-topped gold. Old mine cut diamonds estimated to weigh approximately 8.00 carats, on average L or N colour, about SI clarity as calculated and graded in the mount. Metal shows discoloration commensurate with age. Diamond, natural pearl and sapphire brooch mounted in platinum. Four natural pearls measuring from 5.14 to 4.36mm, are round shape of good lustre. Diamonds estimated to weigh approximately 2.50 carats, are on average G colour, about VS to SI clarity as gauged and graded in the mount. Sapphires estimated to weigh approximately 0.20 carat, are medium blue of good saturation, with typical inclusions under 10X magnification, generally not seen with naked eye. Metal shows discolouration and wear commensurate with age.
