Condition

Overall in very good original condition. The piece was acquired by William Copley circa 1950 and has remained in the family ever since. When viewed in person, the patinated bronze surfaces display a rich patina with hues of brown, gold, red and green. The patinated surfaces with some occasional light surface scratches, rubbing to the patina and minor surface soiling consistent with age and gentle handling. The collar below the head with two very minor abrasions to the proper right and back, not at all visually distracting. The piece has been rewired at some point and is fitted with a US plug. The lamp has not been tested and is not guaranteed for electricity. A great example of the model with a prestigious provenance and in its original condition.
