Condition

Pile ranges from closely shorn 1/10th inch to low to knotheads, some warp ties and spot foundation showing, particularly to center. Sightly stiff foundation with small slits scattered throughout. Remnants of original purple silk selvages with losses and some later overcasting; small losses to outer end guard stripes, now secured with a blanket stitch. Fine weave, lustrous wool, will enhance with cleaning.
