Catalogue Note

Antoine-Louis Anthiaume was the son of the goldsmith Jacques Anthiaume. He became master in 1784, sponsored by the gold box maker Nicolas Marguerit. He seems to have diversified his production at some point as he is registered as maker of cutlery, rue des Orfèvres in 1806.
