Of bib design, set with cabochon spinels, accented by round diamonds, internal circumference 15½ inches, signed Belperron. With Verdura envelope.

In good overall condition. The cabochon spinels are a medium-deep purplish red to very slightly pinkish red, heavily included with examples of surface-reaching inclusions, cracks and abrasions at the facet junctions. The diamonds weigh a total of approximately 2.75 - 3.50 carats, and are approximately G-I color, VS clarity. The bottom half of the necklace is nicely flexible. Belperron after 1989. Please note that this necklace is modern and was manufactured by Belperron in the 1990s.
