Description

Of floral and garland motif, set with cushion-shaped and rose diamonds, the three central flowers can be detached and worn as brooches, accompanied by three brooch fittings.

Provenance

Hilda Constance Helen Blackburn 1920-1986, granddaughter of Claude Bowes-Lyon, 13th Earl of Strathmore and Kinghorne, thence by decent.

Condition

Mounted in silver and gold. Detachable into four sections comprising: one flower head jewel, two floral spray jewels and one floral wreath chain. Brooch fittings all deficient. Diamonds bright and lively with mixed colours and clarities, estimated approximately K-M, Si/I (included) on average. Total diamond weight approximately 8.00-10.00 carats. In very good condition.
