Claw-set with a cabochon ruby, to baguette diamond shoulders, size I1/2.
Condition
Rubies of Burmese origin cannot be imported into the US; this piece may contain a ruby of Burmese origin and therefore may not be able to be imported into the US. Accompanied by The Gem & Pearl Laboratory report no. 11949, stating that the ruby is of Burmese origin, with no indications of heat treatment.
Ruby measuring approximately 18.0x15.7x12.7mm, calculated to weight approximately 38.00 carats purplish red, some surface reaching inclusions, a couple of chips to the girdle, typical inclusions visible to the naked eye, very light abrasions consistent with wear. Diamonds bright and lively. Scratches to metal consistent with wear. In good condition.
