Of geometric design, set with cabochon rubies, circular-, single-cut and baguette diamonds, length approximately 450mm, French assay and maker's marks, several diamonds deficient.

Condition

Rubies of Burmese origin cannot be imported into the US; this piece may contain a ruby of Burmese origin and therefore may not be able to be imported into the US. Certification of non-Burmese origin is required before the import of rubies into the US. Please see our Important Notices and contact the jewellery department for further information. Accompanied by The Gem & Pearl Laboratory report no. 11948, stating that a sample of the rubies are of Burmese origin, with no indications of heat treatment. Accompanied by Gübelin reports from 1992, stating that two of the rubies are of Burmese origin, with no indications of heating. French assay marks for 18 carat gold and platinum. Rubies reddish colour, some purplish red, surface reaching fissures to some, typical inclusions visible to the naked eye. Estimated total diamond weight approximately 40.00-50.00 carats, estimated G-I colour, estimated VS-SI on average. A few diamonds deficient. Maker's mark. Secure clasp. Scratches to metal consistent with wear. In good condition.
