in the form of four ducks, a mallard, and a sheep, each cast 'Heico' to the underside

Literature

The Duchess of Devonshire, Chatsworth, The House, London, 2002, p. 146-147. Two of the ducks illustrated in the Duchess's office.

The Duchess writes (op. cit. p. 147), 'My loved plastic lamps in the shapes of ducks, owls, and a sheep are dismissed as 'Kitsch' by those who prefer something more expensive. Alas, the shop where I bought them from has gone bust.'

Condition

Sotheby's would recommend that these lamps are rewired by a qualified electrician. They are being sold as decorative items only and not for use as lamps. Variations to painted decoration. Surface dirt and old marks and scratches from use. Some electrical components loose.
