The colours in the catalogue illustration are fairly accurate, although the overall tonality is slightly brighter in the original.
Condition:
This work is in very good condition. Visible only upon extremely close inspection, there is some wear to the upper left corner tip with an associated speck of loss, and some hairline tension cracks along the extreme outer edges with two associated specks of loss: one to the lower edge approximately 50cm from the lower left corner tip and one towards the centre of the right edge. Further close inspection reveals a few stable and unobtrusive drying cracks to the upper layers of paint in a few places.The canvas is slightly slack. No restoration is apparent when examined under ultraviolet light.
