Condition

Colour: The colours in the catalogue illustration are fairly accurate, although the overall tonality is slightly lighter and brighter in the original. The catalogue illustration also fails to fully convey the delicate nuances in pigment visible in the original. Condition: This work is in good condition. Close inspection reveals unobtrusive hairline cracks scattered in places. as well as a small number of associated spots of loss, notably two towards the centre right of the composition. No restoration is apparent when examined under ultraviolet light.
