Condition

This work is in fair condition overall. The canvas is slightly loose on its stretcher. There is very light evidence of handling along the edges. There is visible cracking in the center of the canvas which appears stable but some of the cracks are slightly raised. Under close inspection, there is a pinpoint brown drip accretion left of center, right of center and a larger drip accretion in the lower right quadrant. Also under close inspection, some scattered, light abrasions are visible in the black painted areas. Under Ultraviolet light inspection, there is no evidence of restoration. Framed.
