Provenance

Removed from the Forbes building, 60-62 Fifth Avenue, designed by Carrère and Hastings and built in 1925. These doors reputedly opened to the room displaying the Forbes Fabergé collection.

Condition

Overall good condition and presentation. The backs composed of faux silk-wrapped boards, Some pitting and minor verdigris oxidation in areas. Scratches and marks overall consistent with age and use, though heavy in places, e.g. around handles and keyholes.
