decorated in a mirrored design, each with meandering vines and tendrils issuing finger-citron and attendant flowers enamelled in various colours, with brightly coloured butterflies in flight reserved against a vivid turquoise-blue ground, all below a ruyi-head border around the mouth and above upright lappets around the base, apocryphal Jiaqing iron-red seal mark

Condition

There is an approx. 0.6 cm hairline crack to the mouthrim of one vase and a few firing specks to the footrim and some surface wear and a few occasional losses of enamels. The mouthrim of the other vase has been slightly polished in areas, possibly to conceal some firing imperfections and kiln grits.There is a tiny nick to the footrim and similar imperfections as well as surface wear and occasional enamel losses as on the other vase.
