Description

  • porcelain
with ten flared sides resting on a slightly tapered foot, painted on each exterior facet with a small cluster of plump grapes, the design reserved in pale celadon-white against a rich and even lavender glaze extending to the interior and base, the base with a six-character seal mark, stand

Condition

The bowl is in overall good condition. There is a tiny glaze flake on one of the angled corners of the facetted rims. There is a lightly polished firing crack to the footring. There is some warping to its sides and light surface scratches. There are also expected firing imperfections like an unburst bubble on the interior, glaze pulls in areas and specks.
