Condition
The sculpture is sound. There are areas of uneveness to the patina, in keeping with the Artist's working method. The surface is slightly uneven in places, particularly the central elements of the face, and there are small pits in places, particularly the right shoulder, both of which are possibly a result of the casting process. There are some minor traces of oxidisation along the lower back edge and to the centre of the ears. There are traces of casting residue and dirt in the crevices of the bronze. Subject to the above the work is in very good overall condition.
The sculpture is freestanding.
